Chris & Meagan de Bono founded Meru Miso in Melbourne, Australia in 2015 with the intention of creating an authentic fresh miso the whole world could enjoy. Today they are based in Tasmania and are committed to crafting the highest quality Australian made Japanese condiments.
Since launching the range of Miso the reception and praise has been very humbling, recently winning a Gold Medal in the delicious Produce Awards is testament to this. Meru Miso has the pleasure of supplying their range to some of the best restaurants & retailers in Australia, even working alongside chefs to create bespoke Miso.
Made from Australian biodynamic & organic ingredients by hand using traditional techniques, their products are individually handcrafted in small batches with limited use of industrial machinery to ensure minimal impact on our environment.
